Well sorry for my breech of protocol. I thought it was relevant to the GW world because so many folks are seen yelling LLEEERRRROOOYYYY in game. I thought some of the GW community may not know wtf that was.
Anyway, glad it is ok now.
My apologies.

Somebody told me Leeroy's clan was notorious for making movies like that. So yes, it's scripted. But it's still funny.

Leeroy transcends different gaming environments and is a universal truth. Om.
I would also like to point out that Leeroy transcends conventional grammar rules as well, in that it is not just a proper name but a noun ("He's a total Leeroy, always running in before getting the game plan") as well as a verb ("Why the hell did you just Leeroy that elite mob? Are you insane?") and a barometer ("Yeah, I'm feeling a bit Leeroy tonight. The next pull is gonna get SOMEONE killed and that's the way I like it!").
I am positive that there are more applications but I give you these to get you started. Your mileage may vary, not applicable in all states, void where prohibited.

LEEROY IS MY HERO, dont u say crap like that about him. The movie is makin fun of other ppl who r that serious about the game Leeroy is the experienced gamer. Im seriuosly T.O.ed (yea thats rite TICKED OFF) that some1 would diss my boy leeroy like that and call him a noob.
Yes its scripted, you can tell by the way they talk. They werent attempting to make it look like it wasnt scripted its obvoius without a doubt. The whole point is make fun of certain players and its damned hilarious.

I have no clue what this Leeroy trend is and I really dont have much interest in clicking that link but I just find it annoying that every snot nosed kid in GW has taken to yelling out "Leeroy!" and doing assinine annoying things.

You guys are forgetting one thing though........ If it truly is scripted, its real funny, sure. No argument there. When it's not, it's frustrating and really upsetting.
When a group goes to FoW, clears out half the map, gets to the Forgemaster and a guy yells "Lerooooooy" and aggro's 2 huge groups on the outer ring, it's not funny anymore. Half of us have never even seen the Forgemaster to buy the armor. You might say "it's no big deal" or "get the materials first then run it" or any other numerous things to play it down. It's extremely annoying. Imagine having a guy like that when you're doing the Thunderhead Keep mission, aggro'ing every group in the fort .
I dont think i've seen one post here saying "Yeah, it's funny..... til it happens to you". Obviously you've never had a player do this to you.
I'm just totally annoyed at the lack of intelligence and maturity in some people in GW. You think you have a good group and lo and behold..... we have an attention seeker in the group. If it happened in some other mission or quest, it's not such a big deal but you pay to get into the FoW and UW. Why would you wanna throw away money like that? Since when was it "cool" or "funny" to ruin a run to Fow or UW like that?
My suggestion for ANet is this.... Implement a "kick" or "vote to kick" option for a group. If someone comes along like this, we can kick them out. Plain and simple. It would be an easy, 50%-66%, vote. If it reached 50%-66% either way, it would pass or fail respectively. There wouldnt be an abuse of this system cause it would be strictly percentages. Now sure, you'll always get some group or person who might find their way around this i'm sure, but it's a great idea to end this silliness.
My main point is this: Be able to kick problem players for this problem and other problems that might arise. Another small idea added onto this one would be if a player was kicked, a henchman would replace them. This isnt totally necessary but it's just another small bonus. I'm sure since that last update (no hench in FoW or UW) this wouldnt be possible but the ideas are out there.
BTW I'm not one of those players who calculates survival rate. I'm just a player who plays for fun, and runs like that definitely are NOT fun for me. I take the game seriously (wanting to pass quests/missions/etc) and it's just sad there are people out there that just play to ruin others' experience with GW.
Your thoughts?

I've personally never come across a leeroy wannabe, and am thankful. It is a funny video, to be sure, but I was actually relatively unaware that there were IMPOSTERS

Oddly enough there are. The only time I ran into one was when a friend and I were doing UW, as soon as the map loaded he ran, talked to the ghost, then ran and aggro'd the first and second groups of graspers and aataxes. We were fortunate enough to survive all of that while I let the Leeroy Wannabe die (being a monk has some uses) we went on to do alright, but didn't get too far -- a little DP spread around from the start and one or two new players made for a rough ride.
Apparently he felt that because my guild leader paid the entry fee that he could screw around without worrying about losing any money... "Cheap amusement" he called it. He's the only person who's managed his way onto my ignore list.

I did the same with the guy who ruined our FoW run. Does the ignore list basically mute him? Is it a way to totally block all communication from this person? Or is there still a chance I could get teamed up with him without noticing?
